Community
From the beginning, strengthening Christian community was a high value for both the Cooperative Baptist Fellowship and Tennessee Cooperative Baptist Fellowship. We enjoy spending time with like-minded Baptists. Our annual gatherings are called general assemblies.
TCBF General Assembly
Fellowship Baptists from across the state of Tennessee gather each spring (usually in April) for a General Assembly. Features of the General Assembly include: opportunities for fellowship, breakout sessions, inspiring worship, election of officers and leaders, and a resource fair.
The 20th Anniversary TCBF General Assembly, set for April 13-14, 2012, will convene at First Baptist Church in Murfreesboro, Tennessee. This gathering will be a wonderful time of celebrating God’s work through TCBF in the past and anticipating what God has in store for our future! Mark your calendars now and plan to participate.
CBF General Assembly
The Cooperative Baptist Fellowship hosts an annual gathering each year in late June. This General Assembly features leadership conferences, interesting breakout sessions, mission projects, collegiate events, activities for children and youth, celebrative worship, inspiring speakers, and many fellowship opportunities. The best way to know the Fellowship Community is participation in the General Assembly.
The CBF General Assembly is scheduled for June 20-23, 2012, in Fort Worth, Texas. For details about the General Assembly and registration information, go to www.thefellowship.info/assembly.
