Tennessee CBF 20th Anniversary Celebration

Fellowship Baptists from across the state of Tennessee gather each spring (usually in April) for a General Assembly. Features of the General Assembly include:  opportunities for fellowship, informational sessions, inspiring worship, election of officers and leaders, and a resource fair.

The 20th Anniversary TCBF General Assembly, April 13-14, 2012, convenes at First Baptist Church in Murfreesboro, Tennessee. The theme for this gathering is Tennessee CBF: People of Heritage and Hope. Don’t miss this wonderful time of connecting with other Fellowship Baptists, celebrating God’s work through TCBF in the past, and anticipating what God has in store for our future! Special guests include Colleen Burroughs, Amy Butler, Bill Leonard, and Daniel Vestal. A concert by Pat Terry takes place following Friday evening worship. Here’s the schedule for the weekend:

Friday, April 13—Celebrating Our Heritage

5:00 PM – Exhibit Hall Open

6:00 PM – Dinner (by reservation)

6:45 PM – Worship & Thematic Speaker – Bill Leonard (sanctuary)

7:45 PM – Meet & Greet (dessert—anniversary cake in Exhibit Hall)

8:15 PM – Concert with Recording Artist Pat Terry (sanctuary)

Saturday, April 14—Hope for the Future

8:00 AM – Chaplain and Pastoral Counselor Breakfast with Daniel Vestal (by reservation)

8:00 AM – Women in Ministry Breakfast with Amy Butler (by reservation)

8:30 AM – Coffee, food & fellowship (exhibit hall)

9:00 AM – Business Session (sanctuary)

9:30 AM – Music, Worship, and Thematic Speaker – Colleen Burroughs

10:30 AM – Break—Exhibit Hall Open

11:00 AM – Panel Discussion Regarding the Future for Moderate Baptists

12:15 PM – Communion

12:30 PM – Dismiss
