Retreat Leadership

Mike Smith currently serves as senior pastor of Central Baptist Church (Fountain City) in Knoxville. Long ago, he graduated from Belmont University and Southern Seminary (M.Div., Ph.D.). In his spare time, Mike enjoys golf, walking, writing, and a good book. His wife Grace is a retired teacher, who enjoys music, movies, and volunteer work in various ministries.

Scott Willis is a singer/songwriter and worship leader from Murfreesboro, Tennessee. He is a graduate of Ouachita Baptist University and Southern Seminary (MDiv). Scott has recorded 5 custom albums of original music and features his latest worship songs on the website: Worship150.com. Scott is a former Baptist campus minister and served 15 years as the contemporary worship leader for First Baptist Church of Murfreesboro, TN. He is married to Vickie and they have two adult children, Andrew and Amy Beth.

Paul Baxley is the new executive coordinator at Cooperative Baptist Fellowship. Tennessee coordinator Rick Bennett invited him assuming that he could use a breather at this point in his new journey. His role in the retreat is simply as fellow pilgrim. In that context, he hopes to further his ongoing mission to develop deeper relationships with CBF partner pastors.

Registration for this event is limited to 25 persons. Please reserve at your earliest convenience.
