Rev. Rick Bennett, D.Min.
Before beginning his ministry with CBF Tennessee in October 2016, Rick served as Pastor at First Baptist Church of Elkin, NC. Prior to serving as a pastor, Rick served on the staff of the Cooperative Baptist Fellowship Global in Decatur, GA for nearly nine years. Originally from NC, Rick is a graduate of Campbell University (B.A., Religion and Christian Ministries, 1994) and Baptist Theological Seminary at Richmond (M.Div., 1998). He earned the Doctor of Ministry degree from Baptist Theological Seminary at Richmond in 2008.
Vicki Violette, Ed.D
Vicki Violette is a retired Tennessee educator who served as a teacher, principal, and Superintendent of Schools for 36 years. She received her Bachelor’s, Master’s, and Doctoral degrees from the University of Tennessee. She lives in Clinton, Tennessee and serves as a Sunday School teacher, Deacon, and member of several committees at First Baptist Church. Vicki is also on the Board of Directors for the Clinton Utility Board and President of the Clinton Rotary Club. She and her husband, John, have three daughters and four grandsons.

David Wells is a graduate of Trevecca University in Nashville where he earned a BA in Management and Human Relations. For 37 years, David worked for the Kroger Corporation in Knoxville, Nashville, Atlanta, and Seattle in various roles including Store Manager, Operations Manager, Regional Training Manager, District Manager, Director of Operations, and Vice President.. David is married to Anna and has four children: Amy, Katie, Olivia, and Cruz. He has been a member of Ball Camp Baptist Church in Knoxville for over 25 years and active in the community, serving on the boards of Second Harvest Food Bank, Cystic Fibrosis Foundation, and YMCA.
